In case no one told has told you lately, you are doing great.

You are so very loved, by so many people. The world is a brighter and better place with you in it.

You are stronger than you think. As society tries to tear us apart and break us down, we stand together, tall and proud. United and determined to help each other face another tomorrow.

You are beautiful inside and out. Our scars tell a story, never be afraid to show yours off, and let others see what you have gone through to be where you are today.

You have a smile that can change the world. In our darkest times, a smile can make all the difference. It’s okay to be scared and sad and still smile. Smile at yourself because you opened your eyes this morning and took a breath. Give a smile to your neighbor to show them that you are by their side. Smile to your enemy because everyone deserves to see that brilliant grin you wear so well.

You are worth fighting for. I’ll fight for you. Keep holding on and we will get through this hand in hand.

You are incredibly brave. Parents who get up every morning to take care of their children. Friends who send random texts to remind you that they are thinking of you. Spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends, partners, that take an extra second for a long hug before heading out into the chaos. Teachers who put on their happiest face to show their students that everything will be okay.

And most importantly. You are not alone. You are not alone in feeling lost and confused as the world seems to be spinning in reverse. You are not alone when you feel a little extra sad because you miss a loved one or a friend. You are not alone when you pray at night for a better tomorrow.

If you feel like the world is against you and you have nothing else to give, no fight left, no reason to keep moving, if everything has fallen apart and there is nowhere for you to turn.

I’m here. I’ll give you my shoulder to cry on, hell, I’ll give you both. I’ll remind you why you should continue fighting. I’ll be here to distract you from the horrors you are facing. I’ll be here to sit with you and imagine a wonderful future where we come out on top and all the darkness is left behind us.
